Are you and others having trouble understanding what your child is saying? Does your child delete certain sounds or substitute sounds (e.g. saying “tootie” instead of “cookie” or “wabbit” instead of “rabbit”)? Articulation therapy helps your child produce age-appropriate speech sounds.

Do they struggle to talk about past events or organize their thoughts into clear, complete ideas? Your child spends way more time with you than they ever will with their speech therapist. You may want to be equipped with the strategies that therapist use! Caregiver coaching exist to educate and empower the caregiver to understand child development and provides strategies to support your child's speech and language growth within your everyday routines.

These habits can interfere with their oral development, speech, and overall function. Myofunctional therapy focuses on retraining the muscles of the mouth and face, helping your child develop proper oral habits, improve tongue posture, and achieve better breathing, swallowing, and speech patterns.
